Curb-side Recycling Survey

12/15/2020

The City is looking into offering Curb-side recyling to residents. We have had issues with the recycling bin site over the years with people dropping garbage and unrecyclable items in them. Residents would be given a cart similar to the garbage cart and the recycling would be picked up every other week on the same day as trash pickup. All recyclables would be put into the cart. No need to separate items. The cost for this would be around $5.00-$6.00 per month in addition to the cost of trash pickup. We are doing a survey to see how much interest there is for this service. Please click on the link below to complete the survey. Thanks for your input! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z93B29R

Community Center Use

11/1/2020

The Arlington Community Event Center and Fitness facility remains open at this time. As Covid-19 cases are on the increase in this area, we ask those using the Facility to follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask if possible and keep a social distance of at least 6 feet from others. Hand sanitizer is available to use when entering and exiting the facility.  Those using the fitness room will need to wipe down the equipment before and after use with the disinfectant wipes that are available. You must also practice social distancing be staying 6 feet away from anyone else using the equipment. At this time we are asking that only 2 people use the fitness room at a time in order to achieve the social distancing requirements set forth by Govenor Reynolds. We will take every effort to keep this area clean and disinfected. we are asking anyone with any illness or those with an increased risk associated with the covid-19 virus to please refrain from using the facility.
